VINTAGE DUNCAN YO-YO CO. SPINNING TOP IMPERIAL

Description

This is the Duncan Imperial top complete with launcher string.   Condition is as pictured.   There is virtually no wear to the graphics on the top portion of the toy and some very minor scratches on the toy.   It has been played with but the condition is remarkable considering its age.  It would make a nice stocking stuffer for the vintage toy hound or a neat addition to your collection.  This toy dates from the post Flambeau Corp acquisition of Duncan when yo-yo and top production stopped being made of wood and went to plastic.   This toy has the removable top and there is a storage space inside for the launcher string.
The plastic Duncan yo-yos and spinning tops we know today were developed in the early 1970's when the Duncan toy company went out of business and was assumed by Flambeau corp.   Prior to this Duncan made its spinning toys out of painted wood.
