Vintage 1977 Mego KISS Gene Simmons "The Demon" 12" Action Figure Doll

Figure is in very nice condition. Unfortunately, the left knee came loose when I tried to put on his boot many years ago. Have been displaying him in this condition for decades and nobody really noticed. Gene still stands without any help, as seen in photos. Just not sure what kind of knee injury he has, and I really don't want to undress him (for risk of doing more damage) to find out. See pictures for an accurate description.
