Vintage Ford & Mercury removable key cylinder.
NOS, OEM Hurd part #40-423. Other Hurd part #'s it will replace include 40-400, 41-799, 44-124.
Fits nut locks ( Hurd part #41-798) across 1930's, 1940's, & early 1950's Ford & Mercury vehicles.
Also functions as the rear deck key cylinder for Ford station wagons from the years 1942,01946,1947,1948,1949,1950,& 1951, as well as
Mercury station wagons from the years 1949, 1950, 1951.
In addition, it will work as the key cylinder for auxiliary doors on some Ford panel delivery vans.
Includes 2 original brass Hurd keys, key code tag and Hurd box.
Brand new, never installed.
