this listing is for a mini/ little Souvenir mail/ postcard piece depicting Paul Revere's Lantern. Attached is a small card so that the item could be sent like a postcard through the mail.  Dated 1929 on the attached label with the name John E. Maclachlan Roslindale, Mass Massachusetts
Lantern appears to be made of wood and painted or printed?? to look like Paul's lantern. Measuring approx. 2 1/2" high.
Inside when the top is unscrewed you'll find a rolled up sheet of photos of famous places in the Boston area. It's approx. 3/4" wide and 17" long when unrolled. We have provided pics to show both sides
The small long paper scroll has 16 black and white pictures of famous Boston places including Paul Revere's Home, State house, symphony hall, the sacred fish, West Boston bridge, public library, Bunker Hill monument and more
The scroll is in good condition for age but there is some discoloration please review pictures closely. The paint of the top and base are a copper metallic color
This is a vintage item and the postcard attached shows wear and some smudges but was not addressed or marked other than the printing that says:

So when his lantern you get sight of, you'll find tis nothing to make light of;
but pray do not it's looks deride, remove the screw and look inside
