This 8” Airway bu.ffing Wheel and Polishing Compound Bar Combo Pack comes with one orange bu.ffing wheel, one yellow bu.ffing wheel, one white polishing wheel, one brown tripoli bu.ffing compound bar (approx. 2 lbs), green rouge bu.ffing compound bar (approx. 2-1/2 lbs) and blue rough polishing compound (approx. 2 lbs). This variety pack provides the ability to cut, color, and polish to a mirror finish. The orange bu.ffing wheel is the firmest, which allows the operator to cut and remove scratches, blemishes and tool marks. The orange airway bu.ff is designed to be used with the brown tripoli bu.ffing compound which is a semi-wet, cutting compound which is particularly effective at cutting aluminum (and other soft metals) or coloring stainless steel (or other hard metals).
The yellow airway bu.ff is approximately 15% less firm than the orange airway bu.ff and offers a superior bu.ff for coloring; the next step in the polishing process. The yellow airway bu.ff is designed to be used with the green rouge bu.ffing compound which is a semi-wet, cut and color compound that is slightly less abrasive than the brown. The green bu.ffing rouge is perfect for the next step in polishing up both aluminum and stainless steel.
Finally, the white domet flannel polishing wheel is untreated and thus super soft. The white airway bu.ff will allow the user to polish up to a show finish. Pair the white flannel airway bu.ff with the blue rouge polishing compound for a final mirror shine. Each airway bu.ff and brick of bu.ffing compound in this kit is MADE IN USA with premium materials.
